Absolutely, now you can complete your purchase with confidence.
Is an inspection necessary for new construction?
Absolutely! New construction is no longer a problem free guarantee. While many new homes are well built, we regularly find serious defects. You can choose to have your new home checked at certain stages throughout construction, such as: Frame (Pre Linings), Final Handover (PCI) and maintenance inspection (3 Month defect liability). The maintenance inspection is essential for identifying items for rectification before your builders warranties expire.
Will you assist in my decision to purchase the property?
NO, Our goal is to report fairly on the condition of the property. Ultimately the decision is yours.
Can you quote on the rectification costs?
Yes, at Macro Building Solutions we are qualified and licenced builders, so we have the extensive knowledge to provide you with a fair and reasonable quotation for the rectifications costs of the issues that are mentioned within your inspection report.
Can you issue me with a safety certificate for my swimming pool?
Yes, we will conduct a detailed inspection of the barriers and boundaries of your swimming pool to ensure that it complies with the relevant Australian standards. Upon completion of your inspection report, and if there are no non-compliant items identified, then we will issue you with a safety certificate. If non-compliant items are found then your swimming pool will fail and a reinspection will be needed at an additional costs.
Do I need to have an independent inspector for my swimming pool safety?
You do not have to have an independent inspector carry out this inspection. We help you with the self-assessment process. If you tell your local council that your pool is compliant, then all the Liability falls back onto yourself, however if we conduct the inspection and produce a safety certificate, then we take on the Liability and take that away from you, and provide you with the confidence and peace of mind in knowing that your swimming pool barriers are safe and compliant.
